Voila, I made it, sure enough. Here is the scoop from here in Southern Louisiana, the state with the greatest French connection in the entire world. From Bordeaux, to Boudreaux, to Thibodeaux, to Chiasson, to Broussard, to Bacque', we've got'em, and it all started with a few STRONG, BRAVE, HONORABLE FRENCHMEN AND WOMEN who gave of the utmost of themselves to be the greatest and friendliest bunch of human beings you'll every get to know!!!
Don't Believe me? Come on down, Visit us. My words will not betray me: you will love the Bayou waters, the ancient trees billowing in the breeze. The North can have its snow, the West it's heat, the East it's crowdiness... give us the banks of the River anytime, a lazy canoe, and a glass of Bordeaux Wine (better known in our parts as du Vin) and you're the richest man around. Well, as profitable as the fellow next door.
This Gallery is not only on Papier, Dahlin! It exists on the Banks of the Bayou! Where? You've got to have the right connection to my place to get in.
My people, the French: they have survived, and remain a culture left to it's own, growing in richness every day. They have large families, they pray, they sing, they dance, and make every moment of their existence count. The French language is alive and well also.
Welcome to my Gallery. Thank you for your patience. It has been long awaited by my friends from around the country. To them who have kept the faith, go special thanks.
